The time to leave the Westglow Resort and take the drive back to Johnson City came too soon.
On our travel day, I wore the black three-quarter-length sleeve top and basic crepe pants.
The white jacket is by Calvin Klein from Stein Mart. The square scarf is folded on the diagonal, wrapped around twice, and tied loosely. I knew there were various temperatures today, so a jacket I could remove was a good idea. The bag is old from Express. The shoes are by Cira Joan & David via Saks Off 5th.
One of our favorite views along the way is the beloved Grandfather Mountain. We have often seen the Grandfather Vineyard & Winery signs and commented that we need to visit it. We are so glad we stopped there on the recommendation of one of the guests at Westglow, whose family owns the vineyard. It was a delightful place to spend the afternoon tasting wines and listening to music.
Beautiful photos! What a wonderful winery.
Sounds like you had a great weekend and the photos are lovely. Did you get to try any of the wines?
Thumbs up on the shorter jacket and just generally on how you get stuff tailored.
I really enjoy reading your blog and look forward to hearing about all the fun things you do as well as what you are wearing! You are an inspiration!
Love seeing the NC shots – I moved about15 months ago from Charlotte, to the Texas panhandle. I miss the trees, knowing the mountains are nearby….but I am enjoying my small town life and slower pace.
