  43. Carl said to tell Mickey HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! He always remembered Mickey as having helped him get his start!!! Carl’s dad was going to let him use his backhoe and line up some side jobs on his own. And Mr Mickey was his first customer!! He trusted him to dig the water and sewer line on a house he owned over on a side street off Oakland! So tell Mr Mickey that we happen to know first hand that his kindness and generous spirit are traits he’s had for a good portion of those 88 years! He surely blessed us and our family!!

    Could you post your skin care information again?
    Your face and skin look lovely. I have found the older we get, our skin dries out. I have very sensitive skin and have difficulty finding products I can use.

    Susan, be careful about redecorating his house. It looks like he has done a very good job and has a lot of precious collectibles! It also looks like this arrangement is a good thing, and we do not want it to change because we all enjoy hearing about you both–together–happy–forever. No more changes. Or, if you have to make a few, make them slowly and see if he still has that incredible smile. If he is still smiling, it is okay.

    I have to mention that I got some racks and am rearranging my clothes. You gave me the idea. I must have 50 black tops and probably 40 navy tops. Blacks all together, navy all together, white pants, tan pants, black pants–together. The black and navy go so well with white and tan pants. No problem figuring out what to wear when they arranged properly. I had no idea I had so many–some in boxes, some hanging, some in drawers. Buy them whenever they go on sale and shove them in a drawer. No more of that. I can’t believe I have so many. As soon as they fade I will wear them for everyday. You are so helpful. Is it possible to learn new things at 87 years of age. I guess so!

    1. He uses some of the Beautycounter (Counterman) products also. Part of his secret is that he has never smoked cigarettes and avoids processed foods and meat.

Just wanted to say a very belated happy birthday to your Mr. Mickey. He looks great for 88 and actually younger than his age. My mother in law is turning 90 in November and she too is still going strong. More power to them!
