Chihuly at Biltmore

Yesterday was the perfect day to visit the Biltmore Estate. Fluffy clouds slow danced across the sky, but no rain fell from them for a change. I promised to share a few pictures with you when I returned to experience the full Chihuly exhibit.

My look for the day included a Betmar hat from Belk, Ralph Lauren white jeans, with taupe Børn sandals. The tote bag is by Dooney & Bourke here. The navy and white top is by Clara Sunwoo from My Fair Lady last year.

  4. Gorgeous photos! I love Biltmore and the addition of Dale Chihuly’s designs makes this such a fabulous display! I’ve looked through the pictures several times remembering my own fun visits to Biltmore!

  10. I was there last weekend, we did the evening exhibit and it was beautiful, but during the day you get the better colors. My favorites were the boats with the glass balls and vegetables and the purple display in the pool. The koi are super friendly and looking for some food. Loved it all!

  15. I am over the top thrilled to see your pictures. I saw the Chihuly exhibit years ago at the Missouri Botanical Gardens. My friend and I had plans to go to this one at the Biltmore but health issues ended our plans. Your pictures are gorgeous ❤️✌

  16. Hi Susan – Gorgeous photos! In your opinion, does the Clara SunWoo Tipped Hem top run large or true to size.? I’m going to get it but wasn’t sure on sizing as it looks loose fit and maybe could size down. I have the same body style as you … apple.

    Thanks,
    Barbara

  21. Thank you for sharing the beautiful pictures. The Biltmore estate is on my list of things to see, but it’s a bit of a drive from Wisconsin.
    Enjoy your weekend.

    1. The most important thing I changed was to stop eating meat and all processed foods. I consume fewer calories and drink lots of water. I also go for long brisk walks as often as possible.

  22. Love the outfit and the place is absolutely gorgeous. You visit so many interesting places.

  23. I am from Germany and we have been to France quite often, so I am absolutely impressed to see a French château with a lovely French garden over there in your neighbourhood. For a European this is amazing!
And by the way, Happy Birthday to Mr. Mickey. Always smiling, looking much much younger, exemplary well-dressed. I feel there is much to learn from him.

  24. So beautiful and magical! Love your outfit! I would love to know the color of the bag that you’re wearing. I went on the website but so many lovely colors to choose from but I like the color of your bag. Thank you! Happy 4th of July from Canada!!
