The local weather was sunny and mild on Saturday, so I didn’t want to wear a coat. Layers served me very well. If the weather became too warm, I could remove the scarf and or the vest.
The layers included a red shirt, a cashmere V-neck sweater, a scarf, and a long vest with dark wash ankle jeans. When I purchase something new, I do so with the intent of wearing the item at least thirty times. That means it must fit my style personality and go with most of the things already in my closet.

We enjoyed our favorite spinach salad at Carmel’s before wandering around in the Grove Arcade to check out the decorations and window shop for a while.

Ive never tried beauty counter but the countertime system looks wonderful as well as flawless in five and lip gloss in red.
An appropriate facial cleanser, the appropriate serum and the appropriate moisturizer. I don’t know these products enough to know the correct ones to request.
I’ve been pondering trying out this skincare line on my sensitive, aging skin for awhile now after doing a bit of research on this particular product. I’m trying to move towards a more natural skincare line, and this one seems to be one that is highly rated. I would be thrilled to try out the Rejuvenating Face Cleanser, Rejuvenating Day Cream and the Rejuvenating Night Cream. I have the blondest brows in all of Georgia and would love to have the Beautycounter Color Define Brow Pencil in Light so that I can properly convey my feelings across a crowded party to my beloved, and the Beautycounter Color Intense lipstick in Brunch so that he will see my smile from across the room. I believe that makeup serves a purpose to emphasize features and emotions in daily life as much as it is necessary (to a greater extent) on a stage under lights!

Hi Susan! While I have never used Beautycounter products, they have intrigued me because of your representation of the products. Your skin is beautiful and I am envious! I am 63, and have tried many expensive skin care regimens. I abused my skin well into my 40’s with sun exposure and peri menopausal acne that left my skin with hyper pigmentation, skin discoloration, and lines. On your recommendation I decided to try the Overnight Resurfacing Peel (my 1st peel) and the results were immediate–evening out my skin tone & it is not drying. That was so good, I decided to try the lipid defense cleansing oil—no more Ivory soap for me–this leaves your skin so soft and clean. I would love to try Countertime’s Renewal Eye Cream–I have a feeling this will be good stuff!! Also, Beautycounter’s containers are recyclable and they don’t use the harsh chemicals in their products–a great company. Thank you for introducing me to it!!!

The three products which appeal to me are Countertime Tripeptide Radiance Serum, Countermatch Adaptive Moisture Lotion and Countermatch Recovery Sleeping Cream.
Never having used Beautycounter previously, I read the reviews given by customers and the product descriptions. The inclusion of hyaluronic acid, vitamins and retinol is positive as, when I asked my skin specialist if he could recommend a good moisture cream, he suggested I look for creams which contained retinol and hyaluronic acid as they have been proven to assist in the reversal of aging skin.
Once I have exhausted my present supply of skin care, I will probably give Beautycounter a go.

A lot of the products look very interesting.
If I had to pick my top three, I would choose:
1. Color Intense Lipstick in Girls Night – so hard to find a true red in the stores.
2. Counter + No. 18 Brightening Facial Oil, because who doesn’t need a little brightening in the winter?
3. Rejuvenating Eye Cream, because my old eye cream has a lot of bad chemicals in it.

I have been reading your blog for several years and love the way you live such a full and healthy life. My hubby and I have just returned to Celebration in Florida, a lovely little town which I know you would enjoy visiting. We have been traveling between Florida, Toronto and London for the last two years which has been a little tough on my skin and hair due to different climates and local water, it all makes such a difference. I have been trying many different products both high end and drug store brands but really want to settle with clean products using natural ingredients. I’m fortunate to have good skin but do suffer with dry eyes so would be interested in trying Beauty Counter skin care and eye treatments. It’s very difficult to find a product which doesn’t irritate the skin around the eyes whilst adding hydration. I just took the skin care quiz on Beauty Counter which suggests I use the Countermatch range to include the eye rescue cream, intense moisture serum and recover sleep cream.

Oh my goodness! The Countertime Tripeptide Radiance Serum is a favorite for me as my skin seems determined to go with gravity! Countermatch Adaptive Body Moisturizer is such a treat during this dry time of year. It will help smooth my legs and arms and beat flakiness without being sticky. Sheer Lipstick in Lily is my other favorite, it’s a perfect color to wear with anything. I love the sheerness – and it takes care of my (also dry) lips. Please send me the info on the scarves you have left. I think you have great style and appreciate the inspiration. I try to stay stylish even though it gets more challenging every year as I am 72. Mainly I have had to comprise on footwear foregoing heels for comfort shoes. I have found classic style and flattering colors are my best friend.
Beauty in 5, Lip gloss in azalea, and lip conditioner in peppermint. My lips are constantly dry and these last 2 products spoke to me! And Beauty in 5 looks like great fun!

You are changing the way I shop and helping me identify what I want and need in my closet and to get rid of the rest of the distraction in my closet. In fact I just shopped at White House Black Market and purposed to purchase solid tops and all the items coordinated to work with each other. I am trying to think of what is already in my closet when I am in the store and am learning so much from your videos.
