The local weather was sunny and mild on Saturday, so I didn’t want to wear a coat. Layers served me very well. If the weather became too warm, I could remove the scarf and or the vest.
The layers included a red shirt, a cashmere V-neck sweater, a scarf, and a long vest with dark wash ankle jeans. When I purchase something new, I do so with the intent of wearing the item at least thirty times. That means it must fit my style personality and go with most of the things already in my closet.
I still have a few silk scarves in my inventory. Ask about them in the comments section below, and I will email you the info and pictures.
The elements of my looks are rarely new, so I share highlighted links to similar current items, often at luxury and medium price points. The shopping links in my posts may result in a small commission for me at no additional cost to you.
The ladies above were having so much fun, and they looked so sharp, we asked if we could take their picture for the blog. They were on their way to lunch, and we had just finished ours.
We enjoyed our favorite spinach salad at Carmel’s before wandering around in the Grove Arcade to check out the decorations and window shop for a while.
My dramatic new necklace is from Beauty In Stone here.
