Best Black Pants

The festive season is in full swing, so perhaps you have already enjoyed many activities with friends and family. This time of year, getting dressed up for an occasional lunch with gal pals is always fun.

On this day, I wore one of my best finds for 2024. The pants are machine washable, but I hang them with pant hangers from the hemline to air dry. I don’t care for the added bulk from pants with pleats, so I am pleased with these. They have pockets and a high waist with belt loops.

The fabric flows nicely and keeps its shape during the day.

The pants are here. I am wearing a size eight regular, with an inseam of 32.5 “. I am 5’6” tall. The bodysuit is sold out in black, but the white is here. My jacket is from J.Crew last year. A similar one is here. The shoes are here. The bag is old, but it is the Quinn Woven Clutch by Olga Berg.

Things are looking up here. My father’s first cataract surgery went well, and my mother’s radiation treatments were successful. Mr. Mickey’s numerous infections have cleared up, and he is working toward regaining his strength.
