Wine on The Wine Tour

I thought it would be appropriate to wear this merlot colored top on the last day of our winery and vineyard tour.

You often ask me about luggage and packing. I bought this little carry-on bag by CalPac from T.J.Maxx a couple of years ago and it sure makes travel easier. The small black hat box type bag was a gift with purchase from Lancome. I carry my toiletries and cosmetics in it. I also take a hanging bag to carry jackets and anything else that I don’t want to fold. It was wonderful to wash my hair in the soft water they have in the Dobson area. It makes all the difference in the world in how my hair behaves. I can literally wash it, comb it out and let it dry. No frizz, lots of shine, happy face.

The first vineyard we visited on Sunday was Herrera Vineyards on the way out of town. The grounds were well manicured and the view was beautiful. They had a nice restaurant and bar area but we weren’t hungry yet, so we look forward to trying their food on our next visit.

Along the way to Chateau Morrisette Winery and Restaurant, we stopped at some interesting sites along the way.

We enjoyed tasting a few of their best wines at the winery and then we had a delishous late lunch in the restaurant.

We often share dishes so that we can try more than one. This small wild mushroom bruschetta was superb!

The view from the restaurant is fabulous! I stood out on the deck to take these photos but this is what we saw from all the windows at our table.

As we were preparing to leave, we met this delightful young couple from Roanoke. We always enjoy chatting with other travelers.

At the end of another perfect day we drove off into the sunset planning our next fun weekend.

The wine colored cut-out top I wore is by Clara Sunwoo via They are still generously offering us a 15% discount when we enter the code Fall16 at checkout. The jeans are old ankle style from Chico’s. The bag is old from Saks Off 5th. The necklace is from French Kande. The shoes are old by Jessica Simpson.

I want to offer a heartfelt thank you for making the grand opening of my online shop yesterday a greater success than I ever dreamed of. I appreciated your friendship and kind words so very much. You inspire me everyday!
