Along the Way

The sheer sleeve and sheer panels jacket by IC Collection is from ShopMyFairLady.com. I bought this one last year, so I don’t think they still have it. The pants are a couple of years old, as are the suede fringe sandals by BCBGeneration.

The life-size bear statue in the park is one of my favorite bronzes on Lees’ campus–McRae College in Banner Elk.

  1. Where on your site do you find your new navy basics collection? I check your site and blog, but didn’t see an announcement about this. Thank you!

  2. Would love to see this collection in black in petite sizes. For those of us with short waists, short arms and short legs.

  3. Could you tell me what size you wear in the top & pants? Think we are about same size & body type. I’ve enjoyed your blog for several yrs and have learned to dress with more basic pieces. I want to get the navy set. Thanks for your blog. It has helped me so much in spending less $ on my wardrobe. I live in Virginia & love the area around Abingdon too. Have you ever done the Va Creeper Trail on a bike? I would like to try it, but I am 10 yrs older than you.

    1. You can do the VA Creeper Trail! Get the bus to take you and your bike to the top of the mountain. Coast down at your own pace while stopping to enjoy all the beautiful and interesting spots along the way. Have fun!

I am so glad that what I share has helped you save money!

  4. Thank you for your kindness and honesty in sharing your life experiences. I really enjoy your blog and look forward to every new posting. If possible I would like to see the jacket on a hanger if it would better show the sheer panels you mentioned in its description. Thank you.

  5. Love black & love your outfit. The bear picture was a surprise. I thought you were there somewhere in the ba9.
