A Splash of Print

On the rare occasions that I wear a print, I always anchor it with neutral solids and a low-key handbag. I choose jewelry that is also subdued and minimal to pair with it.

The earrings are old from Chico’s. The espadrille shoes are by Nine West. The hammered silvertone cuff is old. The jeans are by Michael Kors via Stein Mart a couple of years ago. The sunglasses are by Balmain.

The handbag was from Express a few years ago.

The I.N.C. Kivah two-piece sandals were from Macy’s last year. The Thistle & Bee cuff was a gift from Mr. Mickey.

The top is by Clara Sunwoo, and the white pants are by Mesmerize, and they were gifts from My Fair Lady. This discount code for 15% off your purchase from My Fair Lady

  1. You look very pretty and summery in this print! I see what you mean by anchoring it with the rest of your outfit.

  2. My goodness! Look what white pants can do! You know I never wore white pants before I began reading your blog. Now I have several and I’m constantly amazed at how putting on my white pants just changes my whole outfit from casual to dressy. Add a shoe with a bit of a heel and there you go! This has made packing for trips so much easier too.

  3. I am so happy to have found your blog! You have inspired me in so many ways, clothes and diet especially.
You are a beautiful woman with great taste and I eagerly look forward to every posting. I am thrilled to hear you might be producing a quilted bag similar to your Express handbag. It is classic and timeless.

  4. You look lovely in that print? When you buy sandals do you go up a size or half a size in order to keep your toes from hanging over the edge of the shoe? I find I have to.

  5. I can’t wait to see that bag on your website. I love that bag! You look gorgeous as always. Thanks for all your help.

  6. You always look stylish, polished, with a relaxed elegance – that’s why I follow you. I’m 65 & strive for a similar look. Would love to have a bag similar to the one you’re carrying. Please let us know when you’ve got it for sale on your site!!

  7. I don’t wear prints often, but I have to say that I really like this top! It is a very attractive print, not too overwhelming & I love the color. It looks great with either the dark or white pant. Excellent choices!

  8. You look lovely in this print. You should really wear them more. Nothing give a lift better than a joyful print.

  9. Ditto to what Nikkil said about the print tunic! I love prints as they help to camouflage so many problem areas. The tunic is too long for me; apparently Clara Sun Woo doesn’t carry petite sizes and no length measurements are given. Same goes for the white pants which I love with the high waist (Reg & Tall sizes).
    This outfit is a winner!!
